Day1: Marrakech – Tichka pass – Telouet – Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
From Marrakesh ‘ red city ‘ towards Ouarzazate, we will pass through the mountains of the High Atlas , natural rampart south of the imperial city of Marrakech. This is one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Morocco, it’s pass “Tichka” rising to 2260m, is considered to be the highest road pass in the country. Once arrived in Telouet, a visit is necessary to admire the famous Kasbah ” GLAOUI ”, the old Pasha of Marrakech. Lunch and continuation along the old caravan road who once came from Timbuktu. We join the famous Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared by UNESCO in 1987 as World Heritage and where several movies have been taken, such as “ Laurence of Arabia” , “Jesus of Nazareth” , “Gladiator”,…etc. After a visit of the Kasbah we will continue to Ouarzazate. Night in hotel.
Day2: Marrakech – kasbah of Taourirt – Kasbah of Tifoultoute – Cinema studios – high atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast we begin our visit to Ouarzazate the quiet and safe city that extends on 1600m in the middle of a desert plateau contrast, benefiting from an exceptional geographical location and climate, it is surrounded by fortified citadels: Visit of the tow famous Kasbahs “Taourirt” and “ Tifoultout”. Also the brightness and the profusion of desert landscapes have attracted many studios : Visit of the studios and the cinema museum. Lunch on the road of the High Atlas, crossing mountains and villages to get to Marrakech. End of the tour
