The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou it’s surrounded by walls leaning on the slope of the hill, is probably from the sixteenth century, when developed the trade road between Marrakech and sub-saharan Africa by the tizi n’Telouet and the Draa Valley. The population consisted of Berber Ait Zineb, jews, slaves and black farmers. In an aristocratic neighborhood also are six beautiful Kasbahs of the eighteenth and nineteenth centurieswith beautiful exterior decoration.

Ait Ben Haddou was declared Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. This classification and thirty Films that have been shot attract tourism as well as the beauty and historical value of the site.
